There are loads of things to do in San Diego that I could easily go beyond the nine attractions and adventures listed below.

But the unique San Diego experiences below offer a range of activities and attractions, allowing you to explore every corner of this “sunshine city”.

San Diego’s sparkling coastline attracts more than just millions of tourists each year.

It is also the migration path for bottlenose dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, humpbacks, gray whales, blue whales, and the occasional orca. 

During this time, these marine mammals make a 10,000-mile round-trip journey from the lagoons of Baja California to the icy waters of Alaska, snacking on krill along the way.

Trails with waterfalls like Cedar Creek Falls or the popular Torrey Pines State Park trails often overshadow Annie’s Canyon.

But this hidden gem is a must-see in Solana Beach and only takes about an hour and a half to complete, allowing you plenty of time to enjoy Solana Beach.
