A quick google search of Todos Santos is all it takes before you come across stunning photos of this semi-new hotel. Paradero is not your average beachfront resort in Baja that sleeps hundreds of people. It’s a smaller, uniquely designed hotel with a focus on relaxation and wellness. CHECK RATES

Cacti Suite Paradero

Paradero Todos Santos Layout

A lot of travelers dream of staying in a beachfront hotel but I think there’s something more special about the location of Paradero. Nestled between the desert and the coast, you can get a perfect view of the giant cacti and the occasional whale breach from the pacific.

Paradero Amenities

Pool Paradero Todos Santos

What really caught my eye when I first saw Paradero was the crazy long pool but there’s so much more than that. Here are some of the highlights from our stay:

  • Hot tub
  • Farm
  • Restaurant
  • Lobby/Lounge
  • Omakase
  • Oasis garden
  • Spa
  • Yoga
  • Fitness room

Rooms and Suites: Cacti Suite

Depending on your needs and budget they do have a few options to choose from. We stayed in the Cacti Suite and absolutely LOVED it. It comes with a suspended star net and rooftop daybeds where we enjoyed our coffee every morning while looking out at the desert and ocean. Being on the second floor also gave us a better sense of privacy. CHECK RATES

Paradero Restaurant

Todos Santos Paradero

I’m happy to say that you do not have to be a guest to dine in Paradero BUT having this amazing restaurant right outside your accommodation is a huge plus. Everything here was really expensive (think rooftop bar in LA expensive) but it was still really good; you are in a luxury hotel after all. Some of our favorites are the soft shell crab tacos and their Omakase dinner.

Experiences + Local Area

Paradero prides themselves on experiences that are included with your stay. Some of the few are morning yoga, fitness classes, group hikes, farming classes, and more. There are also more activities that you can book for an extra cost such as a sunset beach set up (I wish we had time for this!)

I also recommend exploring the local area of Todos Santos. The town is small but artsy and has tons of boutique cafes, shops, and restaurants. You will also find lots of pristine beaches, great hikes, and outdoor activities like ATVing, surfing, etc.

Is Paradero Todos Santos the right hotel for you?

Paradero Todos Santos

I’d say yes to booking if you:

  • Love staying in unique & luxurious hotels
  • Appreciate little details in design
  • Want the convenience of activities & food nearby
  • Don’t mind splurging every once in a while
  • Are celebrating something special or maybe looking for a place to propose!

Skip it if you:

  • Are a budget traveler through and through (everything here is expensive)
  • Are traveling with a family (not kid friendly and rooms only fit 2)
  • Want to be within walking distance of town (have a rental car or you will be paying extra for shuttles)

So is it worth it? In my honest opinion 100% yes. We do not stay in luxury hotels often but it is nice every once in a while to treat ourselves and this was the perfect place for that. It’s obviously gorgeous and I can confirm it’s even better in person but what really matters the most is how you’re treated as a guest. Their staff were all so friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They gave us lots of local recommendations since we had more time in Todos Santos after our stay. If you are thinking about booking and can swing the cost, I’d say do it. Their rates vary depending on the room and season but they cost anywhere between $550-$900 a night. BOOK YOUR STAY
